Applied Baseball Analytics was built to bring MLB-level player development tools to amateur pitchers.

Founder Ryan Bobb has worked at the highest levels of the game — serving as a Player Development Analyst with the San Francisco Giants (2019–2021) and as Director of Analytics at UC San Diego. He has also supported programs at UC Santa Barbara, BYU, CSUN, and Pepperdine, helping pitchers translate complex data into real performance gains.

Throughout his career, Ryan has worked alongside draft picks, College World Series champions, and Division I programs — not by overwhelming them with numbers, but by turning data into clear, actionable development plans.
